Magnesium's metallic reactivity is far higher than that of the steel inner tank, causing it to preferentially oxidize and corrode in water.II. Current flows from the magnesium rod to the inner tank, protecting it from corrosion.III. Once the magnesium rod is completely consumed, the inner tank will begin to corrode, thus requiring periodic replacement.Product Features:

better protect the water heater from corrosion!Magnesium rod is commonly known as magnesium anode, also known as anode magnesium block, used to prevent corrosion of metal inner vessels and soften the water quality of magnesium rods. In the water vapor, the metal inner vessels are made of Taisteel or manganese steel, and the cathode principle is sacrificed by the electrochemical corrosion protection of metals. The magnesium rod is used as anode and the metal inner vessel is used as a cathode. In this way, the primary cell is formed by a conductive water medium between the cathode and the anode.
